112358AR trying to keep Dizzy from falling on her. Before Amber Rust took her place as Queen of her hive, she was just one of two possible queens who had to duke it out for the throne. But her direct rival didn't actually seem to want to win although she was certainly smart enough to figure out how. Amber Rust did not like the idea of killing her, so instead she offered her a different set of options. Leave, or stay and be sterilized. To her surprised, her rival chose the latter. And that's Dizzy. The workers gave her that nickname since the drugs they give her make her groggy and wobbly and she wanders around the hive like that.

I tried caricaturing my cats. Philosopher (male) is on the left, Historian (female) is on the right. Their siblings from the same litter. If you are curious about the sudden use of soft shading techniques, it's because Tegaki E now has a limited opacity setting. Which I am having fun finding uses for without doing away with the techniques I learned without it.

This is Stone. The Melliferian cecropia silkmoth seen before but never properly introduced. He's a long distance surveillance flier for the Amber Rust hive, he goes on flights of days or weeks when needed to collect information. He habitually wears the collar of his trainer, who died before his training was complete. That's her number/name on there.

Yeah, that's his brother! Peter's brother is a perfectly normal human being, because Peter himself would have been a normal human being, had his mother not had an unfortunate run in with some magic while she was pregnant with him. The two don't properly meet each other until they're both grown and have lived very different lives. Neither really knows what to do with the other. Peter hates being petted on the head, it reminds him of when he was younger and about the size of a large dog and got petted as a way of condescending to him. He lets his brother do it, because he doesn't want to scare him off.

Peter loves his little dog Gentle. Even though having him as a master means being homeless and sometimes hungry, she'd follow him to the ends of the earth. Because dogs are like that. Still, he does everything in his power to take care of the tiny little thing. Haha, Gentle looks like something you'd get in a Happy Meal here, but really Peter is just huge, while she's just chihuahua-type-thing sized.
